Care basics
For every piece.
- Keep furniture out of direct sunlight. Sun fades fabric and dries out timber and leather.
- Keep furniture away from heaters and air conditioner vents.
- Lift furniture to move it. Do not drag it.
- Check and tighten bolts and screws every few months.
Care by material
Pick your material.
Timber
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth.
- Wipe spills straight away.
- Use coasters and placemats. Heat and moisture leave marks.
- Natural timber has grain and colour variation. This is part of its character, not a fault.
Fabric
- Vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment.
- Blot spills with a clean cloth. Do not rub.
- Rotate and plump cushions so they wear evenly.
- Check the care label before using any cleaner.
Leather
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth.
- Wipe spills straight away with a slightly damp cloth.
- Use a leather conditioner made for furniture, as the product label directs.
Outdoor furniture
- Cover or store it in bad weather.
- Clean with mild soapy water and let it dry fully.
- Bring cushions inside when not in use.
